Physical Description		Rynna always wanted to be tall and willowy. Sadly, she never managed either. But she has accepted her fate. In fact, being short has been a benefit to her job. It allows her to get into smaller places to repair conduits and do damage control. She generally wears jumpsuits with pockets so she can carry what she needs with her. She is a natural redhead and has the personality to match.

General Overview		Rynna has a flamboyant (fiery) personality to match her hair. She is often stubborn. She handles stress well, but does not suffer fools gladly. However, she can be patient and understanding to those who honestly try.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Intelligent, determined, hard-working, fun-loving. She is willing to keep at a task until she accomplishes it. For those who honestly try, she is a good teacher and mentor. She loves life and wants to make the most of her opportunities. Weaknesses: Stubborn, determined. She has a temper, but tries to keep a reign on it. She does not suffer fools and has little patience for people who don't pull their own weight. She has a weakness for ice cream, custard/pudding, and fruit tarts.
Ambitions		Right now, to be a better Ops officer, to be able to fix problems the first time. To have a better feel for changes within the ship. She wouldn't mind finding a good man to share her life with, but only if he can deal with her work schedule. At this point in her career, she's not looking. Mostly, her ambition is to enjoy the life she has.
Hobbies & Interests		Singing (she sang in a band before joining Starfleet) Gypsy/folk dancing. She loves classic jazz, ballads, and rock. Kick boxing. Darts. (Because who doesn't like throwing sharp, pointy things at a target?) She enjoys ropes courses and canoeing. She's adventurous and likes to try new things.

Personal History		Rynna was born on a small planet named Fareni IV, four days from the nearest large planet. Except for the distance, and less-frequent off-world transportation, it was much like any other planet—except that many of the older inhabitants believed in the fey and being fey-touched. Those with "the touch" had a sense of when something was wrong or danger was near. A very few, like Rynna and her mother, could carry on simple telepathic conversations. None had the strength or facility of a true telepath, but it had come in handy a time or two. Mostly, Rynna felt "itchy" when something was wrong, or when danger was near. Rynna learned she had "the touch" when she and her brother were in the woods, looking for herbs and berries. She kept feeling like something was crawling on her and stopped to check. After the third time, she decided to go back home and ask her mother about it. Part way back, a bolt of lightning struck the area where they'd been. A year later, Rynna began to "hear" when her mother was thinking about her. After that, her mother and grandmother began to teach her how to recognize and utilize her gift. Her mother and grandmother were weavers. They taught her how to use a loom and embroider. While they did so, they would tell her stories of their ancestors and how the planet was settled by people once called gypsies. Her father was a tinkerer. He liked to build and repair machines and communications. He taught both his children how to identify and repair problems with a variety of machines, replicators, communications devices, and air cars and shuttles. After school, Rynna and some friends put together a band. She was lead singer, although she'd take her turn on the keyboard. She loved signing rock and jazz. As teenagers hey would sometimes play at the local clubs. Pyro was more interested in woodcarving, like his grandfather, but Rynna loved to do repair work with her father. She would often work by his side after school and weave with her mother and grandmother when the weather grew cold. But she wasn't content to stay on Fareni. She would watch shuttles and the occasional starship fly through the sky at night and dreamed of traveling to the heart of the Federation to work, or maybe even join Starfleet. Her opportunity came when she was eighteen and the USS Bradbury stopped for several days to talk with the planetary leaders. She met one of the officers when she was in the city and began to ask him questions about Starfleet and the ship. Amused and surprised by her knowledge, he took her on a tour of the ship and introduced her to the captain. That led to her taking the entrance exam a year later. She was accepted and soon made the journey to Earth to attend Starfleet Academy.
