| General Overview | Lily is a compassionate individual who has the necessary qualities in being a good doctor. Attentive, Forthright, Respectful, Empathic, not in the psionics sense of the word but,one who can empathize with her patient or patients. She does seem to have an innate way of looking at people in a non-judgemental way. She appreciates life a great deal, can find the beauty in her surroundings, looking beyond the physical features of a a being. She can be resolute in the tasks she undertakes, not hesitating to go into dangerous situations in order to take care of wounded. She loves good food and loves to experiment in the kitchen discovering new tastes. Is willing to try different cuisines. She loves to read as well. |

| Personal History | Date of Birth: June 18th, 2365 Lily grew up in the Coastal Town of Florence, Oregon on her family's 50 acre piece of land. The place had some greenhouses,with a small menagerie of animals. Chickens, three horses, goats, several alpaca, two cows, plus several cats and two dogs. Living on the farm several farmhands who help to run the place. Her father is a chef who runs the restaurant, connected with his family's Inn.The inn is run by his parents and two other siblings. ( he comes from a large family of nine kids) Lily's mother, Vivian comes from a long line of doctors, medicine being in her blood. Vivian is a naturopathic doctor, a doctor which not only is knowlegeable of modern medicine but is also knowlegeable of natural medicine like that of Oriental medicine. Lily started showing interest in medicine when she was six years old accompanying her mother on her rounds and gathering herbs. With the various books that were around the home, Lily started reading medical books, and medical journals. Words she didn't understand, she would ask her mother. As time went by, Lily grew older, and so did her siblings, two of her siblings joined Starfleet along with a couple of cousins. Her two older sisters are working on their own lifepaths, one of them following in the footsteps of their father becoming an accomplished chef. Lily has an uncle on her mother's side who works at Starfleet academy as an instructor,named Jerome Ryan Alexander. A brief rundown on Lily's siblings: Her oldest brother Morgan is a helmsman. The next oldest brother, Stephen is in engineering on another ship. Third oldest Olivia is fast becoming an accomplished chef. Number four, Derek is going to school to become a veterinarian, Number five, Madeline is helping to run a citrus orchard with her aunt, Corinna in Northern California. Schooling:Age 17-22 Lily, due to her avid interests in medicine, was encouraged to go to her mother's alma mater the National University of Natural Medicine, in Oregon. She graduated at the top of her class. Her interest in joining starfleet came about when she went to visit her uncle,Jerome and also hearing of her brothers experiences. Tragedy: Lily lost her best friend Annabelle Trevor during her college years before Academy. They had been best friends in high school. Lily was 20 years old when Annabelle died. Service Record Lily soon joined Star Fleet, going through the academy under the tutelage of her uncle. He was a hard but fair minded instructor, not letting the fact that his niece was his student give her partiality. Off campus he was a fond uncle. Lily's six month cadet cruise was on the USS Nighthawk a nebula class ship outfitted for battle. Her instructors were rather satisfied with her willingness to work and her attention to detail, thusly awarding her the rank of an Ensign. Her first official tour, she was assigned on another Nebula class ship this one was the USS Nightengale, a medical ship. She served on that ship for two years. Her next tour was on the same ship she had her cadet cruise on, the USS Nighthawk. Both she and Captain Rutherford shared a laugh, him saying. "Of all the starships you could have been assigned to, you ended back on mine. " Her response was, "Is there a problem with my being here?" with a twinkle in her eyes. "As far as I know, I didn't cause you any trouble now, did I?" "The only trouble you caused, was changing my diet so I could stay alive longer. I couldn't believe the audacity of what I had considered a mere cadet." he had responded. To that she replied, "You definitely learned the old adage was true. Never judge a book by its cover." Lily became assistant chief medical officer, on the Nighthawk. Lily's tour on the USS Nighthawk ended after two years, due to the ship becoming badly damaged. It was during a fight with pirates while escorting another ship. She lost several close friends,among them the CMO, Edward Holmes. She was injured as well, disregarding orders to not go after the Captain. She counter-manded the orders stating that it was her duty to go get him. The ship was towed to the shipyard, where it was found that it would be a little bit for the Nighthawk to be repaired. Lily and the crew were sent to go heal up from the battle, Lily was sent back home. After convalescing at home for four months, Lily was eager to get back out among the stars. She got cleared to go back on duty, her next assignment, the USS Majestic as Chief Medical Officer. |
