Tazde had just gotten off the shuttle that ferried him over to the Majestic, His Steamer Trunk and Duffel were all his worldly good that he needed. The satchel he slung over his shoulder had the smaller things he needed for the immediate, he would be able to take three days to unload the rest of his things; he had stepped off the shuttle; requesting permission to come aboard from the Deck Officer and then off to his assigned quarters for a fresh uniform and then to check in. His gear had gotten there only after he had changed his uniform. If it had been a hotel he would have tipped the OPS person for being so quick to have his things delivered, a handshake and thanks seemed the best for the situation.

There did not seem to be a reason to put off his reporting in; he had the uniform tailored before departing and then a scan with a tricorder gave the computer a fitted uniform matter formula to replicate them in the future. The Bridge was a sight to behold; he did not know how often he would be coming up here; depends on the situation of course, but this is only the first time he will see the bridge. He walked to the Ready Room of the Captain and rang the chime.

"Come in." Jane called, pinning the last of her unruly hair back into position again. It had fallen down three times that morning alone. She swore that when Hak was around it misbehaved just for him. But as much as it stressed her to have the extra guests around, she loved that he was here. He was her safe space and she hadn't realized how much she needed that sometimes.

"You must be Lieutenant Tadez." Jane said as someone came through the doors. She stood up and offered her hand to him. "Welcome to Majestic."

Tadez entered and stopped short of the desk before giving a formal bow of respect. "Thank you Captain for accepting my Transfer, it was kind of you to do so on short notice." He straightened. "This is a very impressive vessel you are the head of; may your Commands be filled with wisdom and a long reign." He complemented.

"Thank you. She's . . ." Jane wanted to respond that she thought of the Majestic like her child but she wasn't sure how that would appear to him. "Special to me for certain. So, it looks as if you have a rather impressive background in diplomacy. That's something that will be highly valued, especially with our next mission."

"I have had a few successes along my career." Tadez replied as he took the chair across from her. "I look forward to being of service where I can." He met her gaze. "How may I be of service in that mission?" Asking with some anticipation that he kept under wraps. "If I might ask , is there any preliminary information package or should I do my best research before we arrive?"

"I will send you the information. The highlights are the Claddin Empire is requesting assistance because two of their species are having a disagreement over a trade route. You know them, if someone sneezes they get out the paperwork and figure out how to fix it. But they are a powerful ally and Starfleet has agreed to their request of a neutral third party to delegate. That would be us, more specifically you. But as I said I will make sure you have every bit of information I can get my hands on ahead of time."

"That will be appreciated." Tazde replied with his expression not changing as he did enjoy a challenge. "I have found that most 'escalations of tensions' usually come from a simple reason for an outsider to realize yet those involved do not see it as such. One might say they are too close to the problem to be objective?" He noted. "I will do all that I can to aid in the resolve I assure you Captain." He nod. "I am at your and the crew's disposal anytime."

"Most likely. I completely understand their need for a neutral third party. And it's our job to help ease tensions. Other information you should have, we will have a few guests on board. A couple of families have arrived for the vow renewal ceremony and we're heading to the Claddin Empire with them on board. I don't foresee an issue but hopefully they won't cause any distraction."

"Celebration of love; what could be the harm in that, unless they are Romeo and Juliette?" Tadez interjected some humor. "Vows of love and endearment are nice to witness and should be celebrated. I look forward t perhaps witnessing the ceremony, each culture has a unique twist on the theme."

"Nothing of that sort. I anticipate everyone will get along . . . or I'll lock my mother in the brig." Jane said absentmindedly. Her mother was an adult and should damn well know how to behave herself by this point in her life, especially with a 41 year old daughter. "Anyway, Is there anything else?"

"Nothing comes to mind." He rose. "I thank you but will not need to take up any more of your time." He bow as is proper. "I shall be around should you require?"

Jane smiled. "Thank you. Let me know if you need anything or have any questions. Dismissed." Jane said, and watched him leave the room. She sat back in her chair and stared at the wall, her mind already lost back in the same thoughts as before he'd come in.
