Tadez went to the Sick Bay as the regulations stipulate; he had to check in for his Physical Examination to Officially start his new Duty Station, under his arm he carried a PADD with his Medical Records; it seemed easier to have them should the relay of Orders be slow. He had noted the Senior Staff while accepting the commission. It seemed best to seek out the Doctor rather than Security seeking him out to attend the Physical Check.

Thus he came into Sick Bay and asked a nurse where to find the Doctor and ventured in that direction.

"Good Day Doctor Adamson, I am Lieutenant Tadez; the new Diplomatic Officer, and I hope you could squeeze me in for a check up so I might officially accept my New Duty responsibilities?"

Sandy was reading reports when she heard a voice that took her out of her concentration. She looked up and looked at the new comer. "Welcome, Lieutenant. Have a seat." She closed the reports she was reading and went through the medical files she recently received from Star fleet medical. "Ah here we go," She said smiling and got up. "Now if you would follow me to the biobed." She made her way to the biobed and waited for Tadez to get on. She in the meantime took out a medical tricorder and started to scan him.

Tadez followed the doctor until she had a biobed chosen for his occupancy and he removed his jacket and placed it upon the near by chair before taking his place. "Will they every find a way for then not to be cold, biobed warmer or something has to be made somewhere?" He tried the humor thing, it was not the best one so he let it slide.

Sandy scanned him and then asked him, "So, Lieutenant, how are you feeling? Anything I should know that isn't in your medical records?"

"Negative Doctor, I have not even had a common cold of late." Tazde replied. "I had a bit of a bout with a concussion a few months back; I have learned not to do a friendly game between delegates off the record." He chuckled. "Took what was like a Soccer Ball to the head while delegates wanted to try Futbul that they had heard so much about." He shrugged and almost chuckled. "They took it very ... competitive. Aside from that quite healthy."

Sandy smiled and nodded. "Looks like my readings confirm that." She put the tricorder away. "So a diplomatic officer. Are we going to expect any diplomats coming to the ship soon?" She inquired as she loaded the information in to the computer. "I don't think we had much luck before, but we didn't have you before."

"Depending upon what the Command Staff adhering to regulations or not," Tadez had a grin crossing his face. "I could tell you that if you have a formal dress it come into use if the Captain allows." He made eye contact. "If regulations are held you might curse me for having to wear a Dress Uniform?" He chuckled. "I have made some inquires and if things hold true I think at least a formal dinner with delegates could be in order." He nod slightly. "I would prefer the ladies feel comfortable at the Formal gatherings and maybe for a dinner the Captain might wave the regulation white uniform for a more Formal dress code of the Lady's choice?" He gave a wink. "Or at least one can hope?"

She chuckled. "So you're hoping the ladies will be wearing dresses or shirts and skirts?" She wasn't thrown on off by the wink. "I was just wondering if we could expect any. Didn't need protocols."

"I just like ladies to have the option of being... ladies." He shrugged. "So many cultures on this ship it would be interesting to see what the varied attire would be?" He chuckled."I have been told every lady likes a chance to dressw up once in a while so where would be the harm?" He liked to bring up things to spark conversation, it gave insights into people as a whole. "At least that is what my past support staff have told me when they were being dragged about the Diplomatic circles?"

Sand thought about that as she put her medical tricorder away. "Well do we need a diplomatic event for that? I am sure if you ask Tarria and Mr. O'Mally, they could set up a get together with the crew and we could ask the ladies to wear what they want. And I am sure if we ask the gentlemen to the same, we get some wonderful creations as well. Oh maybe the ladies could dress the men." She grinned.

"This could be an adaptation of an Earth formal dance called the "Sadie Hawkins Dance ' I am told goes through the North American social calendar?" Tadez mused. "If I recall the females ask tha Males to the dance and with your idea it could be a twist on that the Women dress the Men for this occasion." He was beginning to get an idea. "IT could be opened for Spouses with less social graces than duty sense to be 'properly attired for once?" He mused. "And of course we would have to make it clear it is not exclusive to women but just the more fashion wise Significant Other can choose the attire." He grinned. "Diplomatically covering all foreseeable bases for a fun event." He glanced to the Doctor's eyes. "Doctor Adamson you are "Willie E Coyote, Super Genius, you have sparked what could be a very memorable evening."

"Oh stop it," Sandy said. "I was just giving suggestions. But yea it is a great idea now that I think of it. Work with Tarria and Mr. O'Malley. She is of the drinks and O'Malley with the food. And their newly renovated lounge is the perfect location." She dreamed a moment away to how she would dress Sekat. She put her things away as she coughed a bit. "Well, you're all good here, lieutenant."

"I'd like to thank you Doctor." Tadez replied. "Not only for permission to go to work but for the idea; I will get with OPS and see about the arrangements." He slipped off the table. "It was a nice chat, I look forward to talking again maybe passing." He suggested. "If you pass by the Diplomatic Offices I do keep a pot of Rakijino warm as Diplomacy is the art of talking with people; different races and all but essentially, people."

"That's nice of you," Sandy said. "Thank you, and you are always welcome in my sickbay. I like the company. And I maybe I have some Dutch 'poffertjes' for you to try. The Captain and commander really loved it." She smiled warmly.

"I look forward to trying them next time, Good Day Doctor." He gave a bow before departing.
