Qurrac noticed that one of her friends had returned to the table and had an expression that was not of complement towards the situation; her scowl was not hard to read.

"I think I kept you out longer than your friends anticipated." Qurrac warned. "The Black haired one is waiting to comment." He almost grinned as it should be interesting to see which of the 'Ferengi' reputations he would be challenged with?
"That sounds like Charlotte. She must still be under the impression that....never mind. I'll sort her out. I don't want to take away from what we shared." She let her fingers slip between his and give a light squeeze. "That was too enjoyable to have it tarnished by my friends. If I can manage to sort this out, I'd love to have another round out there with you. I really enjoyed it." She gave one last squeeze before she stepped away and found her cane. O ne tap and she found Charlotte.
"You were out on the dance floor with..."
"A rather kind partner. At least he took me out there rather than leaving me in the corner." Izzy replied.
"I thought...."
"You assumed. I do like to dance, even if I can't see. I don't want to be with....him anymore. Acer is just not taking the hint."
"But he looks after you.." Charlotte started.
"That wasn't living Charlotte, that was existing. It's not living when you can't do anything for yourself. If you can't understand that, then I may as well leave! Even if I wanted one last dance before I turned in for the night..." There were a couple of tears that slipped past the bottom rim of her glasses. She turned back towards Qurrac, his scent tickled at her nose and it made her heart break. "I would have loved that last dance....Sorry...." She turned back and with a light touch of her cane she ran for the door. As she went, her left arm moved past and knocked her comm badge off.
"Izzy! I'm sorry....Come back! Izzy!" Charlotte was lost, not knowing if chasing after her or leaving her alone was the better thing to do. She looked to the Ferengi, Isabelle had had a moment of being happy with him, and Charlotte had just 'rained on the parade'. "Boy, did I ever fluff up. She's going to be mad at me for a week."
"Jamba, her eyes are open." Qurrac said as he turned. "Make it up to her; next time let her dance and do not leave her at a table alone for someone like me." He started to take a step. "What ship do you serve?" he asked and when she hesitated he urged. "She is leaving with only a Comm and cane on a busy station; not the best idea for any lone female; I work with Security I will see she is safe... I swear by Latinum she will arrive safe." It was a good way to emphasize that this Charlotte might understand.
"The USS Majestic." She blurted out. "And if a hair upon her head is out of place..." She started to warn.
"You made the right decision, she will be safe." He replied and made for the door after the woman.

It is never all that easy to run when upset, it is even more so when you can barely see to begin with. She ran straight for a while, just to get away from Charlotte. it would have been nice to turn around and run back to Qurrac but that would not teach Charlotte anything about what she had done.
"Great, I lose out on.. a second dance and maybe more because of Charlotte and ....blasted Acer! The next time I see him he will know in no uncertain terms that it is over! I'll comm the girls too to tell them the exact same thing! Now, which way was the ship again? Computer, direct path to the USS Majestic."
There was no response. "Something must be wrong. I guess I will just have to find a comms panel. I wonder how close one of them could be..." She started to wander along using her cane, but not exactly getting very far.
He did not have to go far as Isabelle seemd to be lost in place and all but turning circles with her cane trying to find a land mark.
"You seem lost Isabelle." It was more of a statement than question. "Is it a Hue-mon female thing to tease and then leave before the Gentle-mon has time to reply and ask when?" He moved closer slowly hoping she might sense him and extended his foot to have the cane find easier point.
"Qurrac?" She heard the voice and turned towards it, tapping his shoe with her cane lightly. "I didn't mean to run off like that, but I didn't want to listen to Charlotte a moment longer. It was getting rather upsetting and now I feel all wound up and lost as well." She leant a little on her cane, holding it in place in front of her.
"You lost your comm badge?" He asked and noticed a clear front of her dress. "That makes the location feature harder." He stood waiting for her to come closer or go back. "There is a Comm station six meters behind and twenty degrees to your left, if you need?" He told her and extended an arm. "or if you will allow me I can help show you the way to your ship?" He smiled knowing she might not see but it is said one can hear it if you smile when speaking. "I would have taken you for that dance should you have stayed, I do not get many repeat dance partners; they hate shorter males it seems." He chuckled. "But we might ponder that possibility when you are safe at your ship and not in a place of confusion."
Her hand came up to the spot she had pinned on the badge. "Oh bother, that is a pain. No wonder when I went to use it I got no response. She moved closer, taking up the offered arm. "It is nice to hear that I could have gotten that second dance. Thank you for the offer. I'm happy to have you escort me home, and see what we can talk about."
"Come, I will see you to your ship; a Star Base is still not a place for a lone female to be walking alone; there are all sorts of Males and a beautiful lone female might draw attention." He spoke. "Might seem as though she wants company; we would not want you to get that kind of situation." He moved casually in a direction. "If you will give me a chance to prove I assure you a safe return." He explained. "I am a Security trained Officer so my work does not just stay in the office; I liked our dance so if the possibility of a future dance rests on my getting you safe it is a 'Hue-mon Free-bie', no charge to pretty ladies."
Isabelle stifled a giggle. "Thanks for that, I'm in your hands then."
"Miss Charlotte was unsure if to follow; I suggested I would see you safe." He chuckled. "You might comm her from the ship stating you arrived safely and save my 'Ferengi can be kind' reputation with her." He touched her hand. "She will not be so agitated if we dance a second time in that case."
Isabelle felt a warmth in her the moment Qurrac touched her hand. "Okay, just so long as she understands what is going on. If that is what it takes to make sure that we can go on the dance floor together again."
"You should dance more; all you would need is the graphic references and some light on his feet person who knows how to dance to guide you along the floor." He started to tell her. "Though I think more formal Ballroom Dancing would be more to your style for two reasons." She looked his way with sunglasses angled to him. "One, there is a constant lighting without the neon effects and the pace is not so radical in the style. There are assigned steps and you can learn them and be comfortable than the more 'Boo-gie' style of club dancing." He smiled. "Also you would be most attractive in a formal attire accenting your ... well you would be lovely in that kind of flowing attire."
"Hmm, a step away from what I have heard about your race. A Ferengi that is interested both in the present underneath and the wrapping on top. My father did say if you could find a man who like both the frills and bows and what lay underneath equally that he would be quite the catch, and probably rather appealing. I'm starting to see his point."
