Zeria stretched out on Dom's couch when they got back to the ship. But, she quickly moved her legs when he came to sit down. "So . . . . I know nothing about human wedding traditions. Humor me. What kind of wedding were you looking for?"

"Well, you know my personality would like to have something small and intimate," he said sitting on the couch at her feet and then piking them up and placing them on his own lap, beginning to rub them without even thinking. "However, I know for a fact my family would disown me for such a heinous thing. So, I suppose a larger wedding with a full service, reception, the whole bit will be in order." He thought for a moment. "That's a lot of planning for such an event though." Picking up a PADD from the table nearby he said, "Computer, find pictures of Earth weddings." He then handed the tablet to his fiance'.

Zeria smiled and closed her eyes. That was something she'd been missing on Marga III, actual physical contact with anyone. She'd forgotten how good it felt when someone reached for you and did something simple like rub your feet when you weren't expecting it. "We can still do a small wedding. How big of a family do you have? we could keep it simple and just invite your parents, sibling, and my father. That is if he would even come." She glanced down at the PADD he handed her. "Wow, umm . . . some of those are really fancy."

"And all of them would look even better with you in them." He smiled over at her. "Would we want to travel all the way back to Earth or try to bring them out here?" Dominic paused for just a moment, "He stood, placing her feet back on the sofa as he walked to his desk. Picking up a different PaDD he began typing, nodded, and handed the new tablet to her as he sat back down. This is my mother on her wedding day."

Zeria studied the photo, lost in thought for a bit. The trouble was she didn't really know what she wanted to wear, but honestly, that was probably the least of their worries. "I think we could go to Earth? It's a lot to make people travel to us. We can plan it far ahead, there's no hurry right?"

"No, not necessarily. Then again, who's to know what type of assignment will come up in the future," Dominic replied.

Zeria thought about this for a moment. "You are right. I have an idea Dom, be honest about what you think. We could get married here on Majestic. The Captain and our friends would be present. And then for our families we could do a vow renewal ceremony. I saw those mentioned somewhere. Because we don't know when we will be back to work, or when our families could come. We might not want to wait in case something happens."

Dominic contemplated this for a moment. "Well, considering my family, it is not ideal. However, you are probably right. Perhaps, at the very least, we can call them together and they can see you and get to know you a little better. Plus, they could also watch the wedding as well. Then we can arrange something for our next leave to go home."

"We don't have to. I just . . . . don't want anything to happen. But it won't because we're pretty safe on a starship right?" She thought briefly about their last mission and how aliens had experimented on her in Dom's quarters. It wasn't like that happened all the time. "I know what I'm going to do," she said suddenly cheerfully as she pushed the memories to the back of her mind. "I'm going to the holodeck to try on wedding dresses."

Dominic smiled at that. "Well, at least I know you're sincere about wanting to marry me," he gave her a nudge and a wink. "I think it's a fine plan to go ahead the wedding. Everyone will understand, trust me." He kissed her forehead.

"And why would I not want to marry you?" Zeria paused, her hands on her hips at first until she clasped his face with both hands.

"Because, my dear, I can be incorrigible," he smiled. "For instance, no one could ever convince me you are not perfect."

"You are a blind man with delusions." Zeria joked, "But I still want to marry you." She returned to him, slid her hands around him and kissed him. "But now I want to go try on dressed," she said with a bit of a grin. "So you stay here, no peeking," and she hurried out of his quarters toward the holodeck.
