Another Ops Officer Found

Camelia was crawling through the Jefferies tubes, checking another area that needed to have diagnostics run. Sure she could have been at the console doing such but, well she liked going to check on something with her own eyes. In person. After making adjustments that was needed, she came out of the tubes and gave pause when she noticed another person just walking down the hall, he had the colors of operations, and did he look like he was lost?

She walked up to him, the tall man with eyes of blue and having brown hair. " Hello, you seem new, what's your name? I'm Lieutenant Zamfir, what's your name?"

"Hi there." Kit said, with a smile. "Nice to meet you, Lieutenant. I'm Ensugn Atkins, but everyone calls me Kit."

As Camelia waited for an answer from him, she sent a message to her boss Siora Siora, we've got a new guy in operations colors, where do you want me to bring him?

Can they bring me a hot chocolate? Siora asked playfully, although her chocolate addiction was anything but playful... it was something she was deadly serious about. I'm on my way to Ops Control, we can look over the board and see what's needing attention. See ya soon!

Camelia looked at Atkins with an amused expression in her eyes, "Looks like we'll be picking up some chocolate on the way to see LT. Carberos. She will be meeting us in Main Operations. Let's get going."

They stopped briefly to get the chocolate, then arrived in Main Operations. "Hi, we're here." giving a bit of a smile to Siora.

"I smell my prize!" Siora spoke excitedly.

"Um maybe chocolate overload?" Camelia remarked with a laugh. She had gotten some triple chocolate cupcakes along with some chocolates in a box. And to top that off was hot chocolate for the final offering.

"No such thing Camelia!" Siora said with all seriousness. "Who is the new blood?" she asked sipping the cup of hot chocolate and peering around Camelia.

"This is Ensign Kit Atikins." She looked at Kit and said " Say hello, Atkins" giving a bit of a laugh. "She is happy with our offerings."

"Yes, there shall be no sacrifices today." Siora said with great pride. "Ensign, it is a pleasure to meet you. Siora Carberos." she said with a bow as was customary for her people.

Camelia watched with great interest the proceedings then she realized that maybe this new ops officer was a bit tongue tied at seeing the beautiful Siora. "Hey Kit say something." giving him a slight nudge.

Kit blinked awake "Huh? Oh! I'm sorry. Ensign Kit Atkins, reporting." He said, face turning slightly red. He bowed back.

"I do hope you don't daydream often. I mean what if we have a power cascade barrelling towards the core and you're off dreaming of what kind of chocolate to get me next?" Siora joked.

"He is probably dreaming on how to upgrade the systems on the Majestic to see how fast we can go?" Camelia adding to the teasing. "Well with the Majestic being fuelled by coffee, and chocolate we've got a good ship then."

"Yes." Siora nodded. "Both things that are easily replicated to keep my little lovely self energised up and ready to tweak here and pull gel packs there."

Camelia looked at Kit who seemed to be tongue tied once more. "Well I think we'll just have this discussion about chocolate later on as we've got things to do." she looked at Siora.

"Indeed. Let's take a look at this manifold and see if we can figure out why it's being a cranky pants." Siora invited them closer whilst taking a sip of her drink. She would supervise the two of them and see what conclusions they came up with,.
